I took my 08 van in for a transmission flush today, van has 58K.

Service tech said, let me check but i believe your van does not require a transmission service until 100K.

He was correct, said to bring it back at 100K for trans flush, plugs and coolant flush.

I was a bit embarrassed for being a dumb butt, but I left with my $165 still in my pocket.

He ask me if I had noticed the van did not have a trans dip stick, they do not want you adding or taking away from the factory trans oil until the 100K mark.

Sounds good to me.
This Toy 2008 van is a great vehicle, my wife likes it better than the Toy 2002 model van we traded in and it was almost perfect in 123K miles.

only thing i have done is replace air filters, oil changes and power steering fluid change

I am in a very silimar stage. VAN is at almost 58K miles, and I am going to bring it in for the 60K service. I asked a service advisor on the phone about the ATF, and got the same answer that it is usually not needed until 100K.

However, I did find a dip stick and checked the transmission fluid after I hung up the phone. The fluid looked fine, clear with light pink color.
