I have a 3 speed automatic transmission from a '92 Corolla. Will this be a direct swap to replace the 3 speed automatic transmission in a '96 Corolla?

I have a 2001 4 speed automatic . Can I exchange it with one out of a 1995?
Are parts interchangeable on the transaxle housing? I have a loose bearing on the passenger side of the transaxle housing

yes, it should bolt up and probably work ok...but there may be differences in sensors.

i highly doubt it. one is an A245E and the other an A246E iirc

Are the torque converters interchangeable? I was doing a bit of research and apparently they were changed in the later model years for better lockups and economy, but the interchange data was not consistent between websites.
