I was wondering if transmission leaks are common for the 2004 AWD Sienna's. Just bought one and it was leaking trans fluid. The dealer dropped the tranny and replaced the seals and gaskets about 2-3 weeks ago. It is now leaking trans fluid again.

Got a '04 FWD without leaks. With that said, I did drop the pan at 25K and trust me whan I say it is a bear of a job. Is it leaking near the driver side wheel? Those are real bastard bolts to get to. Probably stripped the bolts when reinstalling the gaasket/pan.

Never will I drop the pan again. Simply take the plug out and refill with new fluid.

BTW, use only Toyota Fluid. It really isn't that much more than other brands.
