I'm buying a 95 wagon dx today and I have a sedan already, but I don't know what engine the wagon has. If it has a 7afe, can I put the 5 speed from my 4afe in it or are they different transmissions? I know absolutely nothing about the wagon though, but I will after I buy it. Here is a picture of my corolla

Dunno if the transmissions are any different, but the 4A's 5 speed should still mate right up to the 7A.

I believe they both use the C52.

The wagons all have the 7AFE.

That tape is hurting visibility for what it's worth. But yes, the 5 speed from your 4A-FE will bolt onto the wagon's 7A-FE, as they were all 7A.
