A/T or Manual?
They both use a 340E auto.
Might have ecm issues since the engines may have different rpm shift points, not sure on that.
Manuals are different W59 vs. R150

If it has a good converter in it It should be useable since the 2.7 and 3.4 use the 340E. But the bellhousings might need to be swapped as well.
It would be different in stall speeds.

IMHO, this seems straight forward on paper and most likely would bolt up but that's where it ends.
Unless the V6 trans is free!

I know ! :)
Whats irritating but understandable is that Toyota will issue different P/N's for the same part to use as inventory and quality control when they have that part going down different lines. I.E, 4 Cylinder production line vs. V6 line.

They also do the same with different suppliers as well! Oil filter is good example; Japan vs Vietnam or elsewhere! Bought Summer special oil filter, lower priced, made in Vietnam; bought regular filter, higher priced, made in Japan! And yes, was different part numbers!

If I do need an OEM part, prior I will get the part number from US site toyotapartsdeal.com, convert the asking price to NZD and then add 50% to get a rough price to prepare myself for the exorbitant price. But the part numbers always match.
