If you absolutely can't find the parts locally, your only other choice is ebay. Be careful with shipping costs though.

Check around at individual dealerships. I went to one at Woodbine and they said TRD is for US cars only and not available in Canada, but if you look at Toyota Dixie (Mississauga), they advertise TRD parts for sale/installation.

Best bet is to search the web for the better prices. Watch out for shipping costs.

I don't even bother with TRD when it comes to 2ZZ. All the awesome aftermarket stuff comes from 2ZZ developers who own 2ZZ XRS themselves such as, redliner9k etc.

2ZZ XRS are now looking at putting down 240 - 270 wheel HP (yes, that is true) since a new intake manifold developed by boosted 2.0 is giving some silly amounts of gains (25 wheel HP) even before a re-tune.

Several aftermarket exhausts
PPE race header is the only awesome race header for 2ZZ
Hydra EMS or Apexi PFC for stand alone ECU management
Boosted 2.0's intake manifold or redliner9k's intake manifold
Boosted 2.0's bored throttle body.

not all Canadian dealers are able to order TRD but you can check www.trdusa.com and download the catalog then call the dealer with a part number they might be able to get it

The barrier is finally broken for 2ZZ-GE owners who want to break the 200whp mark on an NA tune. (haven't been keeping up lately)

Thanks. Things are looking great for 2ZZ now.

It has stumped the naysayers as to how the hell suddenly 2ZZ changed from an "untouchable" motor to probably the most powerful 4 banger N/A motor per liter out now. I am sure we will see 230 - 240 whp (260 - 270 [email protected]) N/A 2ZZ-GE within 6 - 8 months or even sooner.

The most powerful tuned N/A 2ZZ-GE Corolla XRS/Celica GTS were making 190 whp, but with the new boosted 2.0 intake manifold, without any tune, it added 23 wheel HP. There is still more power to be unleashed through tuning etc.

The secret is a few genius and extraordinarily talented 2ZZ-GE owners taking it upon themselves to do R&D (Redliner9K and Boosted 2.0) and develop parts for the motor. The rest as they say is history.
