The current generation Tundra came out in 2014.

The TRD Pro version came out in 2015 and was skipped for 2018.

Is it true that any TRD Pro grille will fit any current generation Tundra model?

What colors do TRD Pro grille surrounds come in? I suspect they come in every stock color that TRD Pro was offered in to date.

This is important so if I buy a new or used 2014+ Tundra SR5, I can try to find a body color that matches any paint color the Pro grille is available as. I don't want to mess with custom painting the surround at a body shop. I would just rather get a truck in a body color that matches any available Pro grille color.

This grille with distinctive honeycomb blackout pattern with TOYOTA silver letters and is a popular aftermarket swap for Tundras, Tacomas and 4Runners in the current generation.

Here is a how-to video on a Pro grille swap:

I have chatted with a certain Toyota dealership about the color options for these "Heritage" grilles and I'm awaiting an answer from a Toyota parts specialist. I want a complete listing of color options for this grille so I can determine which Toyota truck to buy to have an exact color match. I know it is odd choosing a vehicle around a certain aftermarket car part, yes indeed, but the heritage grille is the most exciting cosmetic aspect of these trucks to me. It's a shame Toyota did not offer this as an option on all truck models considering its great aftermarket popularity. I just don't want to buy a most expensive Tundra TRD Pro solely for the sake of its neat grille considering this same grille will fit a new Toyota model $15,000 less retail or even a pre-owned Tundra 2014+. I seek the TRD Pro front end look without the TRD Pro price tag.

Regardless of the price, I would only buy the replacement grille from a Toyota dealer to ensure I get quality genuine TOYOTA parts.
