Hi all,

I've got a 2005 Camry SE V6 that I've been putting some mild mods into (tires, Eibach Pro-Kits, KYBs, Megan FSB, TRD rear sway bar, etc.). It's a daily driver and will never see a track (it's my beater / commuter / kid taxi), Since I've almost got the handling dialed in where I want it, I've been thinking about doing the intake and exhaust. Anyone have this TRD 'sport' muffler installed? How are the noise levels? (The stock setup is too muffled for me, but I'm looking for a mellow sound, nothing obnoxious--my wife and kiddo often ride with me and I want to increase the quality more than the quantity of noise). Anything noticeable in the power department? (Guessing not, but the car is quick enough for what it is already). Any trouble with CELs / emissions tests / installation / durability? Thanks in advance for any insight.

Good luck finding that one...
Really? Sunnyvale Toyota quoted me at $535 for the part and $230 installation as early as this week. More than I'd pay, but it seems to be available.

Nice, wasn't sure if they are even available.

Seems like they are for now, but might be on their way out. Some parts sites list it as discontinued, most still offer it (for about $450-$550).

Alternatively, I'm curious if anyone knows if this is just a rebranded part from another supplier (i.e. Borla). I want to keep this car as stock-looking as possible, but foregoing the TRD branding often saves a few bucks in those cases.
