My first post here. I am interested in 2016 or 2017 Tacoma TRD 4WD Sport or Off-road, but on Toyota's website, its not clear whats the main difference between the two. Can you please point out the difference?
TRD Off Road has an electronic locking rear differential, skid plates, 16" wheels to provide more sidewall and tires with "more aggressive tread". It also has Crawl Control and Multi-Terrain Select. Color matched rear bumper, and black trim around the wheel wells. They have deleted the front air-dam for better approach angle. The fake hood scoop is only available on the Sport. The TRD OR has Bilstein shocks tuned for off road use.
TRD Sport's suspension is tuned more for on-road performance.
