i dont think you'll rub. TRD doesnt give you that big of a drop. im running on 225/45/18 and im super clear. but dont take my word for it!
Did you lower yours when your ran that size? I paid $450 for the tires.i ran that size with my 18s... you should be fine... watch the inside rear strut tho
That's what I'm thinking!:thumbup::smokin:For $450 drop it.![]()
Actually, both Flopshot and Rocketace have GS rims 18x8 +45 offset with 225-50-18 on them. Flopshot is lowered with TRD springs in the front and SE spring in the back. Rocketace will lower his car very soon.Remember, you can go up to 45 profile tires if you want more ride comfort.
I had a set of 245-40-18 before and had no problem. You'll be fine. Enjoy it.True, but since I have the tires already, I'll see what the ride is like with the 40 series. Thank you for the advice.
Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully Rocketace will clear with the 50 profiles in the rear with the TRD drop.Actually, both Flopshot and Rocketace have GS rims 18x8 +45 offset with 225-50-18 on them. That's a thought. Since most likely it would rub in the rear, maybe I should just install the TRD springs in the front and leave the SE springs in the rear.Actually, both Flopshot and Rocketace have GS rims 18x8 +45 offset with 225-50-18 on them. Here is another option, install TRD springs front and rear. Then install the Urethane Spring Cushion that I just installed on mine. It will fix your sagging problem due to the weight of the battery. I got it for $140 pickup. ($150 shipped)
The price is high but he is the only one that got them for now from Korea.
I'm sure we can find a cheaper price...it's just a matter of time but I didn't want to wait.
