So I'm driving and i go to speed up to make it though a yellow, and after i let off the gas since i make it,my RPM's go from around 3k, to 0 and all the lights turn on and i roll to a stop, I try starting the truck, The Engine turns on, but its Idling around 100-200 RPM's... I give it gas, Rev's up to 2k, drops back to 800 rpm's and idles normally... I drive away..

Thats the 2nd time its done that to me. I'm guessing its a problem that needs to be fixed and its going to be happening more frequent.

. Any idea's?

p.s. Yes its automatic

You dont have a brake booster hose?

Try that one. If not...i dunno.........

on my camry i use the VSV, well i think i found the vsv

i had a similar issue last year... turned out to be a dirty, caked on, MAF sensor...

well, i just seafoam my tacoma, Oh man! there was lots of smoke and took me about 10 min of driving to clear it out.

could be the idle stabilizer valve if these trucks have them. That was the problem i had with my porsche - everytime i would brake hard to stop she would let the rpms drop to 0 not 1000 like it was supposed to. I swapped it out and viola she is great now.

What does seafoam actually do?
I have used it before on my jeep cause there was a sale on it at the auto store so I figured I would give it a shot. Jeep smoked like crazy, but I didnt know what it actually does.
