Anyone running them? I searched but did not find a good review on them. The price looks right for 255/85/16's. I just am wondering how they hold up on road since it's my daily driver also, as well as how they do in the mud. Thanks for any help.

No actual experience with these but I have heard these wear pretty quickly.
I had them on my old truck (98 f150). At first they were pretty good. Gave a nice ride & really not very loud for a swamper either. After I rotated them (3k miles) they went to crap & never could get them to hold a balance after that. The guys @ the tire shop broke them off the bead & spun them on the wheel several times to try to get rid of the "hop". Even went as far as to have them mount up another set of tires and test drive it to prove it was in fact the swampers. Ended up dumping them with about 8k on them and going back to BFG's on that truck (traded it in a week later on the taco:naughty:).

They did offer great traction, but if your rig is a daily driver or ride quality is a concern..... There are much better tires out there.
there is a chevy at LSU with them i see daily. looks like a farmer maybe. the tires look bad ass, like the cooper discoverer
I ran them as a set of wheeling tires and they are phenomenal in the rocks, and mud. They are really heavy though and will require a lot more work to balance. My buddy and I spent all afternoon to get them to balance properly. Most tire shops would have given up or charged me for all the extra time it took.

The guys at the tire shop I got em' from usually scattered anytime I pulled in lol.
anyone running these yet?
its a swamper, dont really get your hopes up on them being a good daily driver tire. they wont be. but they will preform nicely offroad, as most interco tires do.
I've seen guys over on TTORA running these tires, and they are pretty popular for the 80-series Land Cruisers as a daily driver.

If you like that size, you should also check out the Maxxis Bighorns. I've got a set of 255/85's in my garage. Supposed to have better on-road manners than BFG MT's, and similar off-road performance to the MTR's. The biggest problem with Maxxis tires is they are hard to find locally.
