ok so im thinkin of replacing the pipe leading into the turbo from the maf. im not wanting to remove the maf bc i kno i would need a vpu and many other things. does anyone here know anyone tht has done this.
I built mine from parts from home depot ........ a 4" shower drain worked really well for having the right size to bolt the maf too.
wish I still had pics ...... I used a 4"x7"x2" K&N cone to cover the the shower drain and I used aluminum dryer hose to get the shape I wanted, took that to an exaust shop to have the pipe built. total cost for my cold air intake when I turbo charged my explorer was about $90 not counting the cone filter.
If somebody tells me how to post it .... I can post the drawing I made in paint before I started my project. paint the shower drain black and nobody can tell
ooo k. thanks for your input. if anyone else has anything, any information or pictures, its more than welcome. sry if this is a repost, but i didnt find any posts like this.
