I'd try holding off on the WD-40.. Do you think you are apt enough to take it apart? Better asked, think you got it in ya to rip apart the steering housing?

I'm thinkin' it's prolly the end of the stalk, the little plastic piece, is broken.. Wear and tear? It has to be because it's not stuck.. The stalk, you can move it right? So, no WD-40 wouldn't do nothin'. If the entire STICK is stuck, then try LITTLE BIT. But, if you can jiggle then, yeah, it's the other end, its broken...

Whoa. that didn't help.. sorry bro.. wait out a little bit more, maybe you'll get a proper answer...

I can jiggle it, just a tiny bit. It doesnt move though. You know what I mean? The stick is stuck in place. Ive been driving like this for awhile now. LOL!! And Im not worried bout the stupid ass cops. Just wanna fix it, because I want everything in my car to work right. Ive been reading about taking apart the steering column in my Chilton's. But Im not so sure about removing the steering wheel. It says that you need a steering wheel removal tool. Any ideas??

Try taking it apart. When my high beams weren't working on my '94 Trooper I took the switch apart and it turned out to be that a lil' bearing in it wasn't clicking into place so as to make the high beam stay on and well one of my wires also popped off. So i would try and take it apart or you could change the bulb to a low one like karazy said.
