Hello All. 1987 Camry. Left turn signal is working only intermittently. Emitting annoying buzz usually. I imagine contacts gone south in the switch. Any easy fixes and/or what is the process for fixing.replacing that stem which also includes the lights)? Thank you.

Buzzing usually means the combo switch has gone bad, dirty contacts. You can try cleaning the contacts or simply replace the switch and hope it's in better condition.

Tried cleaning the contacts without disassembling it, but probably need to get in there to give them a good cleaning, at least to start.

Yes, it will be the contacts internal to the switch that you can't get to from the outside. Good luck!

Just a follow-up.....removed the cover, cleaned the assembly, and applied some velcro to the plastic contact surface of the switch. Stops it where the contact, I suppose, still is OK and the signal works. Didn't want to replace entire assembly. Your help was appreciated.
