I have a Unichip in my '01. I bought the Unichip used. It definitely improved performance, but not enough to justify the $800 price tag of a new one. If you can pick up a used one for around $200, it would be a good deal. Check the classifieds on www.tundrasolutions.com. Someone always has one for sale.
