Original owner of 2004 sienna LE that has been a decent vehicle (but now without some problems). Looking to upgrade to a 2020 or 2021 sienna. All the research I've seen suggests the toyota is still better than both chrysler and honda (regardless of some biased glowing reviews). Honda head room and leg room is atrocious while chrysler is still chrysler-fiat, whose long-term reliability is suspect at best.

Hoping for a 2021 hybrid sienna (not a plug-in), but regardless, are you folks that actually own the latest sienna generally happy with it? I can't rely on basic one-hour test drive reviewers reporting unreliably, "...this chrysler pacifica drives better..." What about in 5 years??? 10 years???

Thanks for any real info!

I have a 2016 LE and I would say I'm neutral with respect to the Sienna. It drives OK, but so did both Dodge Grand Caravans before it. The creaking sliding doors is a big turn off, and the fact that it does not have daytime illuminated gauges at the LE trim level demonstrates to me how cheap Toyota has gotten. Will I buy another? I guess it depends on what else is on the market at the time.

Thanks Twinster. I did notice while testing a 2016 that the build quality was noticeably cheaper. Every minivan I look at, I keep coming back to the Sienna as the better option, though, given much better head room (essential) and still-decent build; sadly, Honda head room is ridiculously low and leg room is short, both of which make Honda a non-contender regardless.

Newer "leaked" information suggests the Sienna will be all-hybrid this Fall, so we'll see how that looks and drives.
