Hi people

I was owndering if any of you had ever attempted to change the upper back rest of the drivers seat with the passengers side upper back ?

I am wanting to do this as the outer area of my leather seat is wearing
and I am sure the switch would work.

I got a tech drawing so all I need is to just do it.

I also wanted to ask if anyone had done this as to find out
how hard it actually is.

I did not swap seat covers but I did replace my drivers side one for a junkyard car. I did this myself for my car (97, black leather interior) I would recommend some good leather gloves though, it is SHARP in there. There are little steel rings that attach the cover to the foam covered frame/seat springs. You may have to cut some of the rings to remove the cover but you can use cable ties or some similar gague steel or copper wire to make new rings. Just be sure to take a picture of the ring pattern before removal so you can reattach correctly! otherwise it will turn out lumpy, Also if your car is a 98 or newer I believe you have heated seats already built into the seat! so while you have it open you can wire that up!

Caution: any seat back/lumbar adjusters thich will have holes on the wrong sides? Or does the same P/N show for both sides???
