Hi.

I have '95 Import 2ltr Celica GT, and is on it's 3rd battery on two years.

Just put a more powerful battery in a few days ago, and within 2 hours the car wouldn't start.
Within 4 hours the battery was totally flat.

Something is draining it when it's just sitting there (not running), only I'm not sure what.

If anyone has an idea of what the problem could be - or some wiring schematics would be even better.

A friend is coming out tomorrow to look at it if I can get some wiring info.

Also, the Clifford immobiliser no longer works from the key - I have to put it into valet mode to start it each time - I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not?!?

Thanks in advance.

start pulling fuses
Can you elaborate of exactly what needs to be done?

Put a DVM across the battery and see if it gains when one of the fuses is pulled?

Also, any ideas where I can get some schematics pronto?

the dvm will do it, just start pulling fuses and unplugging stuff like the radio, the alternator and the main harness to the switches unter the steering wheel, and check out the trunk lite
