Car-part.com or LKQ. Both are nationwide and can ship to home.

Thank you! I've dealt with lkq before, a good outfit!! but the only Corolla my yearish Was from Topeka KS iirc and very sketch about road salt used there, it most likely is
How much cost to ship a long lightweight part
Or a door!

I'm not sure! Sometimes ice?
It certainly doesn't get to 20 below zero fahrenheit there :geek:

promising leads from Lawton OK

i will likely have to roadtrip ~540 miles and taco them out because of oversize shipping and UPS balks at fuel smell the guy told me
this car has TX plates so should be 'clean' under there but he has a guy going to double check underneath for any damage from the elements

a better option maybe a pick-n-pull place
I am showing one Corolla in KCMO yard but they use road salt there and likely rotted fuel lines, a better-than-even chance anyways depending on cars history
checking a little further south to Little Rock and Dallas, both a nice drive to pickpull and pricing is about $5 a line and NOT $100 for whole setup such as carparts place

Little Rock has nothing older than a '98 Corolla currently

Dallas south has 1 '96 and 2 '97

Hey bud,

Well, Me and my wife have lived together in New Mexico for 17 years, I grew up in Jersey, and I'm still amazed how bare metals don't rust here. I bought a 2008 Corolla, brand new, and most of the paint on the hood is gone by the dust Storms yet no rust.

Anyways, there used to be a large salvage yard called Black's but that, unfortunately, was pre-Covid. There are quite a few in NM and El Paso, TX and the surrounding cities/towns.

Dallas looks promising! But I must wait until the taco is fixed and hit US-75 south which terminates in Dallas near Plano

Texas, New Mexico, so CAL, Florida inland, east coast from Va south and inland, ALA, MISS.
I am very curious now if the salty ocean air rots the toyota grade fuel lines as bad as the winter salted roads have done

I think you'd worry more if it were near galveston or the gulf of mexico coast.

The salt will cause the corrosion. A good example is Santa Cruz, CA. Those who live close to the beaches do sometimes get the ocean spray. It's like driving on your snow covered roads. There's corrosion somewhere.

if i peruse the 8th gen Corolla section will i find more fuel line/tank and/or brake line rot out damage, or maybe this issue was fixed on Toyota's design of the underbellies after 7 ☕
