my 6 disk (non JBL) wont switch over to disk 6, so I cant listen to my ipod or sirius anymore. Has this happened to anyone before? I took the deck out and checked the connections but they all looked good. Any ideas?

Try to unplug the cable from the USA Spec module itself and plug it back in. I think that solved some problems other people had with the unit.
funny this comes up, I installed the DF-HON (same thing but Honda version) into my wifes accord, but I forgot to get her the RCA to 3.5 so I took it out of the COMA so she could be up and running, the next day go get a new cord for myself, reinstall everything drive home all is well. Get up today and nothing, I was bummed. Fortunatley I kept everything ultra easy to access and thats exactly what I did (while driving* *not recommended  ) unplugged it for about 5-10 minutes plugged it back in an good as new. Had me worried for a minute but all worked out ok

just to make sure you unplugged the cord that goes to the radio, not the cord that goes to your mp3 player, and you left it unplugged for a little while

OK, now when I pull the fuse, it works for a little while, but the track number (I have it 1 for sirius, and 2 for ipod) just keeps flashing instead of being solid. It will work for a day or so, and then it stops working again, and I will have to pull the fuse again. Any ideas on how to fix this? Do you think it is the usa spec, or my head unit?

I've been having the same issues as everyone else and have been using the same quick fixes (pulling fuse and unplugging and plugging back in) to get a day or so of flawless useage out of my DF-TOY. I tried emailing the company with my complaints but was notified that their inbox is full. Has anyone else been able to get an answer from them? Still wondering if it's the USASpec or our trucks.

My money is on the USASpec being the problem. I have PA11-Toy's (Ipod version) in both my Camry (JBL 6-disc) and my single disc Tacoma. I struggle with both at times, but have not had to pull the fuse yet.

The only reason why I'm questioning the Tacoma is that I've had a DF-TOY in my wife's '03 Corolla for the same amount of time without a single issue. :dunno:

I purchased USA Spec's PA12-TOY in early March so I wouldn't have to use an FM transmitter and so I could connect an iPOD, which I have yet to purchase. I have an '06 Tacoma with the non-JBL in-dash 6 disc changer.

The PA12 works well most of the time. On approx 6 occasions I have lost sound from one or both channels.

Here's the scenario...I start the truck and power up the in-dash unit and my Sirius radio. All is well. Then after a period of time one or both channels goes out. Power cycling the Sirius and the in-dash unit does not restore the audio. I have to power the truck on/off/on to restore connectivity between the PA12 and the in-dash non-jbl unit.

I believe USA Spec has issues with their firmware. I finally got hold of someone there today and they said to send the unit back and then they would send me a new unit. I asked if the new unit would have a newer firmwaare version. Answer was no. So, I'll send the unit back in case it's a hardware issue. But in the mean time I'll have no SIrius radio..
