Saw the news story on Yahoo! This is very funny but it can very well work.... and cause a MAJOR ACCIDENT if some speeding jackass said "OH SH!!!!!!!!" and swerve to hell...

Saw this in the Gen 3 & 4 Camry forum and I stand by what I said there:lol:

Exactly!! This idea would cause WAYYY more harm than good. You would end up with people:

a) Running thru them without slowing down. This would pose a danger to REAL children.
b) People rear ending each other due to sudden stops by others. Truth is, 95% of drivers drive distracted and won't respond fast enough to stop to the guy slamming the brakes in front of them.
C) People hitting parked cars or other in-animate objects such as trees of concrete pillars.

The root of the idea is good, and it looks good on paper, but application-wise, it would NOT work out.
