Im looking for a 1990 v6 le starter repair and/or plunger kit and cant locate one. All those found are for 1992 and newer or are four cylinder ones at lower kw power.

Are they available or does it only have a brush holder based on exploded diagrams?

i found the dorman 02349 repair kit for my 1992 corolla with plunger though.

Thanks but dealership always tells me both my camry and corolla parts such as starter arent available including contacts and brushes. They didnt bother calling oreillys in town for 1992 corolla contacts which i did afterwards and got the corolla contacts but they dont have the camry ones for v6. The dealership parts guys are pretty lazy and give not avail answer when you tell them year due to age without looking it up.
I missed the contacts earlier as shown in the pic since parts of bolt pn 28226 and 28226a

would you know the aftermarket pn for these or kit? Ebay didn’t list anything.

I don't know. Searched for a few minutes didn't find anything definite. The contacts and plunger are probably the same as piles of other starters problem is confirming that. Amayama has the contacts not the plunger.

I would call a local business that rebuilds starters and alternators they will know for sure that's all they do. Or get a reman 1.4KW for less than $100 could always put the parts from that into your original.

See my post on 1992 corolla starter repair kit. It mentions the camry via victory lap ND-36SOL. To comfirm, I'd need to measure the plungers length and washer ID/OD in mm. Mine is not a 4WD but others can measure theirs to see if it matches the ND-LS-36SOL one.

If you have the parts apart, you can search "Denso Starter contacts" or similar on google to find replacement parts.
