I was wondering how hard it would be it put a 22re in a 1993 pickup that came with the 3.0 v6.

Would a 3.4 be even better and would that be hard to do or what

I would think it would be easier, since the 22re is an inline design.

Not at all. The 3.4L bolts into the factory 3.0 mounts and to the 3.0 trans. All you really need to do is exhaust, wiring, power steering and a few other odds and ends (plus changing the pan and pickup tube to the 3.0 stuff)

Nothing that came with the 3vze will work with the 22re..

Back in 85 in my ext cab, yes it could be said.. that little truck was tough..

But, by today's standards... No.. lol, not really.
