I have a 1985 Toyota pick -up 4x4 , I was thinking about putting a v8 ( 267 ) into it ( due too the 22re having bad head gasket or cracked block ) wondering if anyone has done this swap , if so what was final cost and where did you get all the info .
Thanks

Hey bud, before you go that route, you may want to try this stuff.

I normally don't trust "fix it in a bottle" but I KNOW this stuff worked for me. I was having the same symptons you described in you other post. I was down to letting a mechanic handle it, swap the motor, or try this stuff. Worse case scenario, I swap motors.

Anyhow, you MUST follow the instructions on the bottle EXACTLY. I did the procedure with 2 bottle over two days. I've put over 120K+ miles on the truck after following the procedure. NO LEAKS since.

Cost for two bottles......about $12. You can get it from your local autopepadvancedzone.

Best of luck.

There's several common engine swaps that have aftermarket parts and adapter support, but that's not one of them.
You'll be on your own fabbing and adapting. What tranny? t-case? You have to address suspension, cooling, electronics, mounts, etc.
