Can anyone give me the part number for the vacuum switching valve located at the charcoal canister for a 00 Avy? I'm trouble shooting a P0446, P04441, P0440 and hope that may be the problem (it should be cheaper than the canister anyway).

Thanks

My '02 had two VSVs.
I got a canister assembly with all new hoses, electrical and both valves for under $200 here.

Thanks! How hard was it to switch out? I have been looking at the valve near the canister. The hose that runs from the top of it appears to contain a braided wire that is freyed at the T connector to the vent tube. I'm wondering how it is connected to the top of the valve and if I could replace it. I'm afraid I'll have to pull the canister to see how its all put together.

Pain in the neck, even on a lift. Lot of pushing and moving around the exhaust. Canister is back so it's hard to see. Just a couple bolts and a lot of connections. Mark them, so you know who goes where. No special tools.
