i kno i wont see any hp gain but my teacher at school told me it will help at high rpms much better n might help me rev higher n faster

Shim over-buckets aren't designed for high RPM use. Besides, going with a higher rate valve spring will actually make you LOSE power from the extra energy spent on compressing it down. Worse yet, the shim may pop out as the spring is unloaded and the bucket shoots upward toward the cam lobe.

Unless you go for a full build (with shimless buckets or shim under-buckets), don't just throw "upgraded" parts in there. Toyota has actually increased the power of its new engines by reducing valve spring rates and other sources of friction/wasted energy.
