Hello all:

Will be taking delivery of a Corolla CE next week that does not have variable speed intermittent wipers....just low high and another speed. Did a search on the forum for the part number or any experience in replacing the component with the new one that would give us full intermittent wipers for a 2008. No mention of anything for current models. Anyone have information? Thank you!

Intermittent wiper switch part number: 84652-02310, it is $110-140 new from the dealer. www.1sttoyotaparts.com has it for $100 + shipping. If you would not mind a junk yard one, you can get one out of an LE for much cheaper.

It is plug and play, no need to worry about a relay or motor or anything.

Thanks for the info! The next trim level which included them would have blown our budget. Scrap yard suggestion is an excellent idea!

From what I've read so far, this is the same part number used in the Toyota Matrix, which is ostensibly also a Pontiac Vibe, for which the GM part number is 88969651, and can be bought new for about $60 rather than about $120.
