Hey, I just bought an automatic 04 Celica a little above 108k miles. The lift doesn’t kick in. I floored it in 2 gear and when it reached over 6000 rpm I got the check engine light. I took it to autozone and they said there was something wrong with the lift so I decided to buy a new one and change my oil since I saw it wasn’t in good condition. I took it again to floor it and the same exact thing happened! What should I do to get the lift? I don’t know what I’m doing wrong

What exactly did Autozone sell you? Your lift bolts are possibly worn. If you are throwing a code, what was the code? Any other issues?
