'19 XLE with just under 10K miles and we've been noticing brake squeal that's been getting louder when hovering on the brake pedal in traffic (e.g. picking up kids from school).

I'm a week away to bring it in for the 10K service, but has anyone else noticed this? It's super awesome to have everyone's attention in our new(ish) car for all the wrong reasons.

Thanks,
Rich

Dealer will probably just clean and lube it first. It’s their job under warranty.

you have metallic not asbestos brake pads. They are prone to squeak. wear longer because they are harder but noise is inherent

My 3 MO old xse 2019 rav4 has never had anything squeal, I have only 650 miles on it.

What do your wheels look like, are the covered in a black powdery substance? It's also possible you could of glazed your pads from a panic stop. If it was me I would sand the pads and re grease the contact points..Your probably better off making use of your warranty.
