Do you folks know where (if) I can find VIN etched on the 2019 highlander chassis? need it for tracing.
Checked underneath the passenger side, they even have the cut on the carpet but VIN is not there... Any ideas?

Thanks! most common and easily accessible is underneath the passenger seat but looks like US built ones does not have it. Could not find anywhere else...

Can I ask why you would need a “pencil tracing”. Isn’t a picture of the VIN on the dash and doorframe enough?

No, when you do a title rebuild my state asks you to either submit pencil tracing with the application or have the mechanic verify the VIN

Hello, my experience has taught me that the VIN number on a 2019 Highlander typically appears on the dashboard on the driver's side and can be seen through the windshield. It can also be found on the doorjamb on the driver's side or on the registration and insurance papers for the vehicle. If you can't find it in these places, you might want to try contacting your neighborhood Toyota dealership for more details. To verify the VIN must use the official VIN decoder for the best and most reliable result.

The OP is not asking for a VIN decoder, etc. They want to know where the VIN is stamped on the chassis so they can physically trace it with a pencil.

I don't know about Toyota, but I've had other makes where the VIN is under the passenger seat, or on the frame in the engine bay. I can't seem to find any info on the internet about the HL.
