want to change the daytime running lights on 01 camry

well from what it looks like, is that the drl are the same as the highbeam lights..

i want to be able to get the most light i can with out actually blinding anyone so i dont neccisarly want to run the low and high beams at the same time

right now i got some silverstar ultras in the low beam socket, and i was wondering if theres any good lights i can put in the high beam socket so i can run them both at the same time and have the whole front basically lit up but at the same time not really blinding everyone on the road but still getting the most out of my lights...

i think that if you have DRLs then when you turn on the headlights, the high beams turn off. drl's run the highbeams at about 45% or so power but once the low beams are lit, the drls shut off.

someone please clarify on this.

DRL Disable ?

Anyone know how to disable Camry DRL's ? I'd like to do it.
