The front end sits kind of low on my 84 4x2 truck, it is also real close to the bump stops make.
The inside of the tires is wearing much faster then the outside, and I recently replaces the ball joints so there not the problem.

Any recommendations for new torsion bars.

on my 88 it seems fine except the steering is crooked evne after replacing the idler arm bushings, but it drives fine
the steering wheel sits crooked going down the road turned to the right a ways

dunno why

nothing i can do about it

these 2wd trucks sit very low regardless

i doubt anything is wrong other than a steering part worn maybe

good luck!

why don't you just adjust the torsion bars to lift the truck up a bit.
if you tighten the bolts on them it will lift the truck up.
maybe the previous owner lowered the truck.
but i'd try adjusting them first.
