I have an 06 DBL cab tundra. When i leave my lights on and take out the key from the ignition, NO WARNING BEEP is sounded like in most vehicles. Is this true for you guy's tundras.

Also, will i ever use the SHIFT L button on my dashboard.

Your Tundra might have some sort of "autolamp" feature where the headlights stay on for a certain amount of time after you shut off the engine. Its a pretty common feature on vehicles nowdays.
As to if you will use the "shift L" button, it depends. If you ever drive off-road, you might. Thats all low-range is intended for.

I'm so glad Toyota was thoughtful enough to put in a "battery saver" feature like that. Every Toyota I've had since my basic 1988 Camry had that.

In fact, that feature saved me several times last weekend when I was driving my truck. I always drive with my headlights on full (even though my Tundra has DRLs), and at least 3 times I got out of the truck to go into a building never realizing I left the light switch in the "On" position until I got back to the truck! If it were any other brand of truck, I would've been asking for a jump!

"I love what you do for me, Toyota!"

the shift low is how you lock in first gear on the 5 speed auto .it works once you have the column shifter all the way down to 2nd .it is meant for maximum engine braking at low speed .don not confuse it with 4-lo on your transfer case .
