Hi everyone,

We had some heavy rain here in the past two days and I have noticed some water in the spare tyre well of my Camry. Are there any common areas I should be looking for?

The boot trim and carpet seem to be dry, and the rubber plugs for the tyre well are in firmly.

Any other ideas? Thanks

Boot = trunk lol

Antenna or rear window are the most likely. Have you examined the trunk (boot) lid seal and lip for rust or holes?

my trunk was wet too...but i checked it and it appears that there is a hole or two in the place where you keep your jack, right behind the rear wheel if you look closely you'll see what i mean...i might be wrong maybe mines the only one with holes lol

Haha sorry yeah boot = trunk.

The water doesnt appear to be coming from the top of the trunk and the rubber seal around the trunk appears to be fine.

The link that wuda pig posted is interesting, and could be where the water is coming in from. Does anyone know if there are vents anywhere in the Camry trunk?
