Water Pump on a 92

1120 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Akara11
I need to replace the water pump on my Paseo,
I can see where it is but I'd like to know if I have to jack the car up to get to it? that's what it looks like. Also, people have told me that I have to unbolt a motor mount and lift the motor to replace it, is that true?
Thanks.

What you was told makes it easier, but you don't have to. Now you will have to remove the top motor mount and the oil dipstick tube. Buy gaskets and grommets before hand.
No, you can remove 3 bolts and the housing will come with the pump. This housing also has a pipe slid in the back. You do not need to remove a mount.

Sounds like a larf. ;-P

Although that sounds a lot better, actually..
