So I bought the Weapon-R Dragon intake for my '16 Corolla S. I have a magnaflow exhaust as well. I pretty much hate how this intake sounds. It sounds like the car is gurgling when driving it hard, or I just don't know what I'm talking about..... So my question is, anyone else with an aftermarket intake, does yours do this as well? Is it just my intake or is that how they all sound? Maybe I will like it later, not sure.... Thanks for your input.

So I went and had the resonator removed and a pipe welded in... I take back what I said now... It actually sounds pretty mean now.

With the resonator gone, does the car sound more raspy? Post a video so we can hear if you can.

I don't think it does. I feel like my magnaflow fixes a lot of that. As with any new sound it takes time to get used to it. Now I love it. I feel the resonator delete made the difference for me paired with the new intake sound. I'll take a video tomorrow and post it.

So hearing it on video it does sound like it has a little rasp. However driving down the road from the inside with windows down I don't hear it.

Here's a walk around I did the other week too.
