I have a Highlander 2020, and it started to have a weird beeping sound since last week (03/06/2023).
One happened right after I started my car, and another one happened when I drove on highway.
There is no waring light on dash, and the beep sound disappeared after couple of minutes.

I brought my car to a dealer in North California, but the service guy said that he has no idea about the sound.
He said that may be a frost warning, and asked me to record the temperature when it happened next time.
I don't agree with him since it happened once around 9 AM when the meter shows 59F and the other one happened at 11 AM, in California.

Any idea about this weird sound?

In the first video it appears you have something in the front passenger seat. Maybe it's a seat belt warning, especially since the seat belt warning light is on. Can't see the other seats in the second video.

Hi MacE734, thanks for your quick response.
The sound is quite different from the seat belt warning. The seat belt one is much loader and clearer.
In addition, in the 1st video, I just started the car and it is still in the parking position. Hence the seat belt warning should not ring.

Do you have a dashcam? Sound got louder as the camera got closer to the windshield.
If so, could be your SD card needs replacing.

I wonder if her Highlander has the Mayday emergency alarm systems for detecting crashes.... It's right up near the windshield area too if i remember correctly.

My 14 highlander has one but I've never heard it go off before. There's buttons by the map lights up top, maybe make sure you didn't hit one by accident

Definately not the frost warning sound. That's a single high pitched beep.
