So I am just throwing this out there as kind of an interesting experience... and tell me if it is normal because I don't think it is.

I have been getting between 17-20mpg (very occasionally 20) with my 2000 3.4 Taco TRD. However, I just got my transmission flushed this past week and I have noticed my mpg has been close to 23-24. Is that normal that just a tranny flush could do that?

what gas are you using

I have found in my 99 trd sr5 that if I run 91 octain I get around 23 on the freeway. Where if I run the low grade octain I get about 19. So im not sure if the extra money spent is even worth it. Did you start buying gas somewhere else? Did they put in a injecter cleaner? Who knows but its cool its better that before.
