Let your spouse out of the trunk!!

When does the hammering occur? Does the hammering change as you speed up or slow down (get louder, faster, change pitch)? What about on corners? Does it change as you put on the brakes? What happens if you put the car in neutral while the hammering is happening? Do you feel the hammering in the brakes, your seat, the steering?

If you have drum brakes my initial thought is that you have a loose piece that is somehow caught against a moving part.

+1 on SwampFox's rotate the tires. A humming sound is often tire related and when you rotate them the noise should move with it. And it is likely from bad wear as ShawnM pointed out.

If rotating the tires doesn't help to locate the problem I would like to follow up on your comment that the noise only happens when you start driving. Does this mean every time that you start moving from a dead stop? Or does it mean only in the first couple of minutes of driving and then not again until you turn the engine off for a while and start again later?

I'm with SwampFox, where (geographically) is KSA? What does the abreviation KSA stand for?

Hi
i Did a rotation for the tires( Change the tires. Put the front tires on the back and put the back tires on the front.) and the sound moved from the rear to front that’s make the problem looks like it is form the tires so I will go to the shop that I bought the tires from 2 years ago and I will see what we can do
Thanx iwill let u now the updates
Any way SwampFox KSA = King of Sadie Arabia

esp if it coming from the rear I would also check the rear wheel bearing which are so easy to replace, my next advice would if you have a 4 cyl I would make sure the shoes for your drums are properply seated on the backing place and also greased, some time this can cause an annoying sound aswell. Good luck

Hi according to my problem I went to the tires shop and a found the cause for the that noisy sound

I had problem with the alignment that damaged the tires. I found the inner service of tire not smooth it have up & down that made that sound

Now I have to make the alignment and change at lest two tires.:sosad:
