I'm not sure at all about that, thats how my last Corolla was tintednice car man! congrats you going get your third brake light tint fixed? lol you saved yourself some money on mods..if you dont mind me asking..how much did you get the car for?
Gah I don't know if i really do have a alarm! I sat in the car, all doors + windows closed. I locked the car. Both security lights went on (the one under the radio flashing and the one to the left of the steering wheel is just a solid red) and I opened the door and nothing happened?JBL, Security, New lights, Door Sills, Bluetooth, Optitron.... VERY JEALOUS!!!
One thing: SAVE THE PINSTRIPE!!!!!!!!!!!
Edit: forgot about sunroof and body kit too!
I love those rims BTW lol and was the 9th gen xrs a red one with 76k miles @$10k?Thanks!

Either way, I'm very happy with my choice!
Lmao
Hopefully I won't scrape this time!
I'm not sure at all about that, thats how my last Corolla was tinted
Would I just add a strip of tint to cover it?
I'm glad that I got another Corolla, especially white! I can just move some of the "transferable" mods from the old into the new!
We actually got the Xrs for about $17.1 Drive out, (it was KBB'd at about 14,xxx from what I remember, excluding tax title, and license) they were really over exaggerating on it being a Xrs. Every time we would try and haggle the price down, they would be like "The price was never up for a discussion. This is a Xrs, not just a S, a Xrs. There are only 3 in the city, and I have two of them and one of them is a manual" I was thinking in my head, I know its a Xrs, but its just a corolla just with a Camry engine... big whoop? I mean literally everybody was really exaggerating on it.
But they really are rare, I wonder how many were made in production?? :disappoin

I closed the door again and locked it. Lights turned on, so I tried to see if I can start the car w/ the "alarm" on, and the car started? So I'm really not sure what I have as in for a Security System or Alarm?
Was it the one in Houston?? Lol and I think it had a rear bumper protector? But I haven't seen that one since before I purchased my S which was in MarchI love those rims BTW lol and was the 9th gen xrs a red one with 76k miles @$10k?
Oooh ok I'll try that out!oh and I dont know why but some alarms dont really activiate until a minute later....my G35 buddy opens the door all the time when it "activates" (hit door actuator for his locks dont work, he always has to check) so try sitting in the car for a minute or so and then open the door and see if the alarm goes off.
oh and upgrade the horns![]()
Nah it was in Austin and there were some really cheap ones in CT. Heck I'll drive to New England for that carWas it the one in Houston?? Lol and I think it had a rear bumper protector? But I haven't seen that one since before I purchased my S which was in March
Oooh ok I'll try that out!
And I'll try and see if I can upgrade my horns to the Hella Supertones!
You have the Toyota VIP RS3200 Plus Alarm, which is the same one I have on mine (The security light is the same as mines). I had mine installed after my car was delivered, because the lady at Toyota forgot to include it on my options order sheet, so they allowed me to get it installed at the delivering dealer without charge.I closed the door again and locked it. Lights turned on, so I tried to see if I can start the car w/ the "alarm" on, and the car started? So I'm really not sure what I have as in for a Security System or Alarm?
That's a shame. :disappoinSorry to disappoint on not getting a 9thGen lol.
Correct me if I'm wrong (once you find out), but I think the solid light means valet mode.Gah I don't know if i really do have a alarm! I sat in the car, all doors + windows closed. I locked the car. I didn't use the key to open the door. I was sitting in the car, I locked the car using the remote which activated the "Security" lights to turn on, and I just opened the door, but nothing went off?You have the Toyota VIP RS3200 Plus Alarm, which is the same one I have on mine (The security light is the same as mines). Since it is the factory alarm, using the key to open your door rather than the remote won't trigger the alarm.
Hah thanks. To me, either Xrs was fine. :thumbsup:That's a shame. :disappoin
Congrats on the upgrade anyways though.
Not sure what valet mode is as well?Correct me if I'm wrong (once you find out), but I think the solid light means valet mode.
I really like the new ride though! I agree with you about getting rid of the pin striping....I've never liked it on cars lol I'm jealous of the bluetooth & alarm
Oooh ok awesome! Where can it be bought?![]()
Pinstripe Removal Wheel (aka eraser wheel) works like a champ!! Removed my nasty "stock" pinstripe that was falling apart super easy!!
My Wife would kill me if I parked like that. She would call me a douche and tell me to learn how to park straight.
