Well, It's Near The End Of The Line For My Camry

Well,

I received some news that kinda killed a lot of my plans for my Cam late last week. I was planning on moving to Spain next summer and start working for my Grandfather and Uncle at their Mechanic Shop. But I got a call late last week that has changed a lot of things. They need me there by late Sept. early Nov. to start working because they need someone pretty badly. So out goes my plans for my 5SGTE, among a lot of other things:( I will not be buying much more for my Cam, after Nopi I will begin to change it back to stock and sell almost all the aftermarket stuff that I have put on it. If now of you have seen my Camry here's a link to my cardomain page:

I am very saddened by this, my Camry is like my own flesh and blood to me. I love my car to death and do not want to get rid of it. :(

That sucks. Let me know if you want to sell any of your audio stuff.
Oh yeah, weren't you selling a hood earlier? If yes, I might be interested.
Dude that really sux. I remember looking at ur car back when you got ur rims and ur car looked fucking pimp.

They should have those cams in Spain so couldn't you just bring back some of your smaller parts? (springs, neons, bumper lights, etc)
sucks man, just buyimport a chaser there, lol.
Camry's are not very popular in Europe, it will not be easy to find one !:( Maybe it could be a good idea to just bring it along with you (no kitting), there are LOTS of shipping companies who do this so there is a lot of competition. I am sure you could do it for less than 1000 bucks. If you need any help for insurance / registration matters (here in Europe) just let me know. You could start by driving with your US registration number and European insurance ...

For $1,000 I would import my Camry to Spain. I know they're not very popular in Europe as I did not see one Camry the whole time I was in Spain last summer.

And thanks everyone for the support and offers, I will let you guys know after Nopi in Sept. when I start returning my car to stock.
ok, cuz i wanna buy your tails ;-)
Very sad, sorry to hear that :( But really, why go to Europe and drive a car thats a dime-a-dozen in America? Why not take advantage of the fact that you'll be living in frickin' Europe and drive a car that none of us here could ever drive, eh? And if you end up loving it just as much as you love your Camry, then you can import it back to the US and impress the shit out of all of us. I'm sure Toyota has Europe-only models. Hell, Ford Europe makes some sweet looking cars. Pick up a Focus RS!

Yes we've got some European Toyota's, like the "Avensis" (between Corolla and Camry) or the "Yaris" (small car).
If you are ever looking for a company to ship your car just remember one thing : there are huge differences of prices and you'll have to search a lot. While some will give you a quote at 1000 or even less others will be at more than 5000...
Don't worry. You can always buy a Kia

He man, I can list a million cars in Europe you can get for cheap now. SO be happy. Your going to get to see some insane cars. (Ford Escort Coswroth, Oples). And We'll all send you pics of our Cams :)

And whenever you come back, you can drive mine ;)
Goodluck in Spain:thumbup:
Oh btw in fact it is financially more interesting to import a car from the US to Europe than the other way round seeing the current very low value of the US dollar (about 25% lower !!!) Maybe something to think about ...
Oh and BTw nico if you didn't know, Yaris is an echo.
And tho cams aren't popular, you should be able to find one shouldn't you, i mean didn't toyota have like 3 trillion yen in sales?

Opels? I've driven an Opel :D ;)

That always impresses people, until I tell them it was an Opel Tigra :thumbdown Something around 110hp
hey i'm new here, but hopefully will be here for awhile anyways,

I think you crazy if you take your camry with you, you can go over there and get german cars for dirt cheap, or peugos are good choices for preformance.

I drive a bmw on the weekends, and can garentee you will like it :D
Some models of Peugots look pretty nice and would have lots of aftermarket support.

Dude you could get like an audi or something. ANd you know how BMW's break down or whatever? Since you have a shop, you can fix it urself and save thousands.

Opels: The plural form of Opel meaning more than one :D
 boy some of you guys are vultures "sorry to hear that ...can i get you radio?" what the hell is that? dude i'm going to the nopi meet i can't wait to see it and to bed you'll be taking it with you since you'll have a rare car over there and all if you take it with you. leave it the way it is and bring it with you. there is a german company called booster i think and they make custom kits for toyota. think about that.
just read ur post, sucks man..
