Hi,
I just went to to wash the salt off the undercarraige of my 94 2x45-speed at one of those do-it-yourself places and I could barely make it home because the transmission felt like it was slipping and jerking. Could this have to do with water in the transmission? Is that even possible? I had no transmission problems before this. It also kind of smells like burning. Any ideas?

let it dry if it doesnt get better id prepare to replace that disc... might as well get the kit and replace/resurface the flywheel if you do end up having to replace the clutch it will help prolong the life of your new clutch. you should use brake parts cleaner to clean any dirt and grease off the flywheel before you bolt on the preassure plate. you could try to spray brake parts cleaner in to see if it helps your clutch now.
