It's most likely the plastic skid plate thing. Either remove it completely or crawl underneath and bolt it back to where it should be. Jon.

So, what if the little plastic hole piece is broken? I don't want to take it all the way off. I'm not sure what will happen.

you can ziptie it into place temporarily until you get another clip. they're not too expensive, maybe a few dollars at your dealer. unless its the splash guard mounting hole thats broken... in which case it'll cost you $60 - $100 for a new one, depending on the place.

If the hole is oversized in the plastic, try finding a large thin washer to go between the attach fitting and the plastic (hardware store). Or you can just take a piece of aluminum, steel, plastic, etc, put a hole in it, cut it to size and use this.

if u cant fix it...duct tape it
