I am in the begining stages of the 3sgte swap into a 90GT, or otherwise a ST185 into a ST184 body and chassy. My mechanic wants to make my celi as unique as possible for show and performance so I can help set up rep for his shop. The new idea is to custom make a driveshaft and install a rear dif into the car, so thus a trunked alltrac not hatchback. This sound tight because I can't stand hatchbacks, but I do know that this takes money but I am trading out electrical work on his shop for free labor. so what are the possibiltys and realistics of doing something like this.

Look a few threads down for a thread about turning a regular gen 5 into an alltrac, you need a talented engineer and some good luck to get it to drive straight, I'd say no, dont try it...

I agree with Luckynumber5 the process of making the Celica an Alltrac is alot of fabrication and money.. If you guys want something unique.. why not V6 it?
