I have the money for a full set, I just don't know if there's any brand to avoid or if one is better than the rest. Anyone who's installed some what's your experience with them?
I have heard great things about Tein, BC and Megan. Personally I would do megan but that's because I like red haha.I have the money for a full set, I just don't know if there's any brand to avoid or if one is better than the rest. Anyone who's installed some what's your experience with them?
As the suspension is basically the same on the 9th, 10th and 11th gen Corollas, I will say that most of us with 10th gen Corollas use BC coilovers with great success. In fact more of use use BC than all the other brands combined by several times. I love mine. :grin:I have the money for a full set, I just don't know if there's any brand to avoid or if one is better than the rest. Anyone who's installed some what's your experience with them?
Just curious on how the ride quality are on these. I'm looking for some as well. Not looking to slam, just a little lower than stock. Bad for long commutes? I've got no complaints on the ride. Plus you can adjust the dampening on coilovers to get a softer of firmer ride. I drove 9600 miles from Washington state to Nova Scotia and back with no issues. When I spoke to BC they said to stick with the standard spring rate since I don't track my car. Then I could adjust my dampening to my likes. I have the standard springs and again, they said unless I was tracking my car the Swift spring option wasn't worth it. So far I've been very happy with their recommendation. :grin:Thanks for the reply. Did you go with a custom spring rate or swift spring upgrade? Is it even worth it?
