240K 5 speed 1991
I am not sure about the exhaust on the shot of the rear of the car. Don't all 2's have dual exhaust? It has the following after market parts:
Greddy boost controller
oil pressure gauge(autometer)
air/fuel ratio gauge(autometer)
Turbo boost gauge(greddy)
Momo race steering wheel
sparco seat
custom passenger seat,
blitz turbo timer
Razo short shifter and stick

Engine: Rebult at 220000 kms.
HKS Turbo full exhaust
Apexi air filter
HKS blow off valve
Greddy oil catch tank
Greddy spark plug and wires
2RUS oil pump and injecter
Tein basic coilover

Exterior: New paint half years ago, 93 and up tail lights.stock 14" rims at front 16" nissan 240 rims at rear.

Seems like a decent deal. Car has been involved in two rear enders and a serious front ender. I won't get to look at it in person for a few weeks, so all I have are pictures.

Thoughts? Concerns? Anything specific I should look for?

I've been grinding, and I got him down to 5500. I might be able to get it for 5, which is what I was thinking was fair. The guy selling it doesn't speak English too well, so I am having a hard time. He claims it was re-built 20k ago, but he doesn't have receipts, and he has only owned it for 2 months.
Fishy?

assuming the car was never hit, the price at $5,500 is really not bad at all. These cars cost more up here than in the US. I'd inspect for accidents, underbody issues if that turns out fine than anything mechanical can be fixed.

He says its been in a serious front end collision, and a couple of minor fender benders in the rear. I'm really not sure about the setup in the front end, so I am concerned there are some steering/alignment issues, or possibly a bent frame.

Bent or damaged parts that are NOT replaceable. Or something so expensive you wouldn't want to replace.

ask him if you can take it to a mechanic, or have one come look at the car. they can spot things as they are trained. takes about an hour to look over the car, jack it up, etc. only costs about 40$USD and will give you thumbs up or down on the purchase.

This sounds like a very fishy deal to me. You better be putting it on a hoist and then have a compression leak down test done. Ask him if you can take it for the day.
Don't think I'd pay that kind of money for all it has been through...

Actually, he has the receipts. I misunderstood. There was some confusion, as I said, I think this guy pretty much just got off the boat. His emails are usually 2-3 word answers, that don't really make the most sense. His English is a lot better than my Chinese though!

I think I will probably sit this one out. Exploring the import avenue. I will get my deuce, but it will take some time...

Yeah, take your time. wait for a turbo in good condition. One that has not been modified(dogged out) is your best bet.
