I was looking at my engine (2ar-fe; 2.5L; 4 cal) with a flash light and saw on the back side down below the heater hoses and transmission shift cable a plastic thing that looked like a plug of some sort. l would like to know what it is. I don't think there is enough open space to take a photo or I would post one. Anybody?
Almost forgot, the car is a 2015 Camry SE.
Another thing, I was looking down between the air box and firewall when I spotted this.

Are you talking about the plug that's internal wrenching allen key that is above another identical plug that's horizontally opposed?

I wouldn't mess around with it.

I already went there trying to figure out how to add a dip stick to the tranny:smile:

The plastic part is a little aft and nearer the drivers side than the plug with the allen key on my car. Not real sure if this plastic thing is on the eng. or tranny. Think I'll look from the bottom tomorrow.
