You have TPMS. There's no numeric display for the individual tire pressures, just an "idiot" warning light if the pressure in one- or more tires falls below ~26 psi (I don't remember the exact value).

Check your manual (page 517 in my 2015's OM) for instructions on the SET button.

For the 2016 THL, TPM reset info is on page-523 in the owner's manual; basically turn the ignition to ON then press and hold the reset button until you see the amber indicator light blinked 3-times (displayed on the techometer side). The TPM warning light generally turns on when any of the 4 tire pressure falls below a set pressure (i.e. 35-psi) by approximately ~6psi to ~8psi while the wheels are in motion I believe (some version of TPMs use a preset minimum pressure - I am not sure which version/model is on our HLs).

My question however, if I have my tire pressure pumped to say 40psi then reset the TPM (at 40psi), will the warning light lit at ~33psi? Has anyone experienced that? The reason I am asking this question is because I usually check tire pressure in my garage, by pump up the pressure the night before then let them sit overnight then adjust the pressure in the morning to a point to compensate the actual temperature difference inside to outside temp (e.g. If the average outside low temp is 30 degrees F while the temp inside the garage is 80F for example, I would adjust my tire pressure to 40psi) then reset the TPM... just wondering.

so my tpms light came on and went to gauge all tires so now they are all at 30PSI and I even did a reset (no engine) on and the light is still on. Do I have to drive it a bit so it can recalibrate or could it be the spare tire sensor (not sure if it has it on there as some folks says it does and some say it doesn't on spare tires)

If you have a 3rd generation HL, double check the proper pressure as mine is suppose to be at 35-psi (Not 30-psi) when cold. TPMS light comes on when one or more tires with pressure drop (see other posts or owner's manual for more detail) will cause the warning light to come on. As one of the member "is250sp" in the earlier post attached a picture on where the Reset button location under the driver-side dash pretty close the Hood release... If I recall correctly, the manual suggested to reset the TPMS after each tire rotation and I would reset the TPMS only after all tires are with proper pressure while the tires are cold to baseline the pressure sensors. My earlier post also have page number for the where about of this info in our owner's manual assuming you have the same model year HL. Hope this helps.

thanks guys. it looks like 35psi for cold. It was 29-30 psi when I checked today. I will go set it to 35psi
Yap, sounds right; approximately more than 4~5 psi drop will trigger the TPMS warning light to turn-ON. If you did not rotation the tires, you shouldn't need to reset the TPMS in this case yet it won't hurt and always good to know that your system is working - Yeah!

Note that this is NOT a RESET button, but instead it's going to set the warning level at the level of the 4 tires when you press the button. There's no such thing as a reset for the TPMS system after you add air to one or more tires.

The system will reset itself automatically a few minutes after it detects that all of the tires are above the warning level.

Technically that is correct. Good point! I think quite often people/we generalized in our posts/descriptions.
The TPMS "SET" button is to "baseline" the tire pressure (i.e. 35-psi for each tire or if anyone pumps his/her tires say at 33-psi baselined/referenced) at the time we press the SET button. The system is "RESET" or perhaps call it "re-initialized" each time when the ignition is turned-ON and the vehicle has reached at certain speed (~5 to 10mph or so...) for the TPMS to pass without an error.
