I was cleaning out my car this afternoon and ran across this. I'm sure it's part of the car but what is it, what does it do and where does it go?

It's 4 1/2 inches tall in the picture. It's plastic and I feel sure it came off of something in the cabin, not in the engine compartment.

Crawl under the dash and see if your floor vent duct is missing. If not, check under the chairs for the rear floor vents.

That makes sense. Can you tell me where it's likely to be located? Driver's side, passenger side, center of dash?

air duct on the driver/ passenger side under the seats, for the rear passengers , u might have to dig abit into the carpet, my 09 camry has them looks similar but not 100%. give it a try.
